Photographing the Campaign Launch for ‘Recycle Your Electricals’ in Luton
I was deilghted to work on a multi agency project recently, capturing a local event encouraging families in Luton to recycle their old and outdated electrical products and cables.
A really fun family event, engaging with younger children and their parents to spread the word about the importance of recycling electrical products, and the news of a £63,000 initiative in Luton that includes 60 locations where items can be deposited.
Photography Project for the Bedford MS Therapy Centre
This summer I was privileged to be commissioned to take a set of photographs for the Bedford MS Therapy Centre to use in their marketing collateral.
There was no hesitation in my response. MS, or Multiple Sclerosis, has touched the lives of some very dear friends over many years, so I welcomed the chance to get involved.
Photogaphy, Green Initiatives, EV Kerb Appeal and Dragon’s Den
This month I’ve had the pleasure of photographing for another innovative company with a sustainability initiative. And this company has also caught a Dragon’s eye!
Kerbo Charge Ltd successfully secured investment from sustainability champion Deborah Meaden in BBC’s Dragons’ Den recently with a pitch for their solution to the challenges of charging electric vehicles (EVs) at home in towns and cities.
By opening up access to EV charging for more homes, as well as giving people greater choices to transition to EVs it will hopefully result in cleaner air quality in those locations.
If dogs did Brand Photography...
If dogs did Brand Photography, what would the images tell you?
Knowing our borrowed pooch ‘Barnsley’ , his brand shoot would probably look something like this…
Photographing the London SME Business Awards
What an amazing night I had at the London SME Business Awards recently, hosted by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London.
It’s a prestigious event so I was delighted to be personally recommended to the organisers for the photography service I provide.
I thought it would make a good subject for a blog to describe what goes on before during and after an event like this, including behind the scenes, from a photographer’s perpective. So here goes!
Getting past the camera nerves 😳
Most people I talk to about photoshoots tell me they start out feeling a little nervous about having their photo taken. Does this sound familiar?
Its probably no surprise then that lots of business owners tell me the same thing, and that it can make it harder for them to show up online, to be the face of their brand.
I completely get it as I felt the same way myself. It's one of the reasons I love being a specialist Brand Photographer.
Corporate Headshots
With ever increasing demands on online presence, businesses need professional looking branding with great visual impact. Corporate headshots are no exception to this.
Outdated, mismatched photographs of key personnel may not present your organisation or staff in the best light. If you are continually investing in your online presence it makes sense to show your organisation off with great headshots.
Up to date headshots help your customers to feel at ease, knowing that there are professional, welcoming people taking care of their business.
Solar Eclipse
All my life I have been fascinated by eclipses. But how hard can it really be to photograph these events?
